What it is

Soft-touch lamination is a matte-feeling surface finish used when the package needs a smoother, more tactile hand-feel than standard matte.

When to use it

  • Cosmetics, fragrance, jewelry, candle, and gift packaging where touch is part of the product experience.
  • Rigid boxes and premium cartons where a subdued surface should pair with foil, embossing, or Spot UV.
